Candle Making Kits

Candles combine both beauty and functionality which makes them very alluring, prompting people to want to try their hand at making them. The easiest way for beginners is to purchase one of the many candle making kits.

These kits come  supplied with instructions and all the equipment you will need to make your first few candles. These include the wax, wicks, dye, fragrance, container and mould. More expensive kits will also include a thermometer and  boiler to melt the wax.

Soy wax kits are ideal to start with. The soy wax is eco friendly and when burnt doesn’t produde any soot. However, pure soy wax does have a low melting point therefore these candles are usually kept in containers.

Gel candle kits can help you make some of the most beautiful candles as the gel is transparent and therefore what you put in the candle is limited only by your imagination.

Petroleum wax candles, the “standard” candle used every day, are still preferred by some who like the look and feel of the traditional candle.

Candle making kits are ideal for the beginner but if you want to take it to the next level, or even to sell your creations you should look to get your supplies from a  wholesaler to keep the cost down.
